Beautiful balance! The seagull makes it look so easy. I’ll think of seagull feet next time I’m in Warrior III.

Haha :-). I wonder how it will affect my balance if I imagine I have a seagull leg and foot?

Thank you :-). I took a bunch of pictures of the two seagulls in “Mountain Pose” and suddenly one of the birds stretched its wings out while stretching one leg back. I like it when seagulls try to impress me! Seagulls are pros at standing on one leg.

This is a good example of taking a moment to be in the moment, instead of rushing on (as I am prone to do). Nicely done π

LOL! I like these poses better than the “dive-bombing for fries” poses that gulls often take at Granville Island. π

:-D. “Dive-bombing for fries” was the first thing I used to associate with gulls! Then a few months ago, Laura of createarteveryday wrote that it was her favourite bird and I started paying more attention to gulls. A blog post by iago80 made me realize that there are many species of gulls and I noticed two species one day at Vanier Park (near Kits Beach). I have yet to commit the names to memory though and am still guilty of calling all gulls “seagulls”. I’ll have to work on that…
