Cooper’s Hawk

IMG_3777

I rarely see hawks. This one was two blocks up the street from where I live, shaded from the early morning sun. He was being harassed by a couple of crows. The synchronicity of this sighting made me smile. Just the day before, Melissa of melissabluefineart wrote a lovely blog post on her appreciation of hawks to accompany her painting of a Red-tailed Hawk. Her words and painting made me feel wistful.

    1. You’re welcome :-). If your painting is a harbinger of hawk sightings, I just had to spread the delight!
